The CNW "400" was a 4-6-2 Pacific engine with extra large diameter drivers running as a somewhat higher boiler pressure. It pulled a string of the basically standard heavyweight passenger cars of the era which were equiped with special high speed trucks (wheels). The photo here is of 2908, before the MARS light was added.
